I made my maiden flight in 15 mph winds. It was IMPRESSIVE!!! The roll rate with safe and in beginner mode was more than shocking. The stability in the wind was even more impressive. I was all around very pleased with everything. 
Getting down to the bottom line of what you need to know:
1. This plane was a bit difficult to put together. Using ingenuity I used a string to feed through the fuselage to feed the elevator and rudder connections. The rudder was a bit tougher due to it having to go half way through the fuselage. I used the same tactics with the exception of using needle nose pliers to feed the strings. 
2. The first plane that I received malfunctioned. I called the customer service and through trial and error, they sent a new plane after one month of trying to change out parts. So I had to take apart the first and do it all over again.
3. I personally have just over 80 hours of flight time on a 600mm plane. I would highly suggest anyone getting into the hobby, doing the same thing. The up scale of plane is very different, this plane has rudder capability and ailerons that actually work. This is MAJOR differences between the smaller scale and this scale.
The nitty gritty the plane sounds so beautiful at half throttle, it’s a screamer with full throttle. I can’t wait to be more comfortable with this plane and take it out of beginner mode. I was able to do rolls and even snap rolls. It’s a great way to get into the larger scale models and learn new tricks. Also, Mr. Dan from Hobby Zone deserves a well big great mention here. He assisted me through the entire month of calls and e-mails of bugging him about the status of my first plane. He made things right and I was able to finally fly. I’m very impressed and thankful for the experience that I had with Hobby Zone.

I bought this for my granddaughter 9 years old. She built it with out a complaint or issue.
   I assisted her with the servo wires by attaching a string to feed it into the fuselage. She had no problems or complaints, using my tools to help her grab the string.  Reading about frustrated adults with the wires makes me laugh and smile. We flew in a 10 mph+ wind, I was more nervous than her. Wow, the hand toss was amazing. It stopped going forward in the wind and just hung there. The powered flight was even easier. We got up 4 mistakes high and just sat there watching the wind try push us to the left and right. This is my first experience with a gyro and I’m jealous it’s her plane.
  I had some questions and customer service is wonderful. I am looking forward to buying more planes from Hobbyzone-Arrow.

Easy assembly, Everything you need is in the box, flies great. wish it had a bit more color on the bottom to see it better. A great plane to train on.

Everything is awesome quicker than i expected it to be???? But needing the elevation servo with the long cord. Bought the only one i could find ended up being much to short, if you could send me the product code/number id be happy to order one! Thank you.

The Prodigy is a great first plane. The gyro stabilization makes it easy to fly. Much more forgiving and maneuverable than other pusher planes I have crashed.  For the money, the RTF Prodigy by Arrows is a wonderful way to start your RC career.

This is a perfect “Toss and Boss” - “Glide and Slide” airplane.  I needed a plane that would allow prospective members a chance to fly an RC airplane ; without wrecking my fleet.  The pusher design is very intuitive for beginners and it has a wide speed range with good stall characteristics. The Vector radio is terrific and the stability mode works great. You cannot beat the  value of the RTF version of the Prodigy 

Well.....this really is my first plane. That's the truth. I'm handicapped, spinal cord issues. But the Prodigy posed no real problems for me. Very easy to use and almost unbelievable in flight. Amazing prjce for the fun and enjoyment I received.
Know what....just purchase it from Hobbyzone . You will not regret this really plane.

I got this for my husband and he loved it!! We did get some wires mixed up. He made out to the field with some aircraft hobby vets and was able to get it off the ground and landed safely!! This was a great gift!

This purchase came very quickly and was packaged nicely.  The Plane was easy to assemble good directions, and is an amazing flyer.. does great rolls, and loops.  Flys straight and level in a good breeze….love this plane!

Easy to fly

I was looking at going up from a small scale park flyer and really getting into a full control (4 channel or more) plane. I did a lot of checking reviews and finally settled on the Prodigy. It's worth every penny. The included remote is of course basic, but that doesn't negate any of the benefits. Plane overall is so smooth and easy to pick up flight characteristics immediately. I like the 3 modes, minor correction, no correction, or heavy correction. It's allowing me to teach my son basics of the larger aircraft without risk of totally destroying a plane. Between that and the price, I recommend it 100% to get into larger scale aircraft.

For an RTF airplane, there is some assembly required. After I got it put together and check all the controls, I took it out for a flight on a cool, windy day. It does make for a great glider. it wants to stay up for some time. All my landings were great. Great fun and easy to fly.

The prodigy is a great bird to train with. Its very capable and surprisingly areobatic. Its large size makes it easy to see for beginners and keep orientation. I think maybe a one off but on my third flight the system lost reception about 50 feet away from from me while landing and now the motor won't respond to command. Everything else works fine but something must have happened during impact. Gonna run a lemon rx and am trouble shooting the escape and motor to find the problem. I will say the fuselage and wings are very durable judging by the impact it took. I really like the Prodigy. I hope they get the pho version back in stock soon so I can get another that looks a bit better than mine does now lol. That's the price of flying though. Crashing is gonna happen. All in all , great product. Arrows rock's!

The build was rather easy, and a tip on threading the elevator and rudder wires... I taped the end of the two wires to a straightened out coat hanger and it was very easy then to feed the stiff hanger through the fuselage in seconds.
However, I have not flown yet. I'm still practicing on RealFlight simulator.

Makes a good beginners plane, nice and slow and easy to fly.

My RTF PRODIGY screams through the air it's built very well with every thing you need to get you in the sky. You can't beat the price for a quality airplane I just love all my Arrows hobby aircraft.

I’ve been looking for something new to do as I approach retirement. Never flown RC before and this plane was a great first. Hand launched and flew 4 minutes without issue. Flew twice more, had some hard landings but ready to go again.

I've had many gliders and this one is very good. It is very affordable and very easy to assemble. It flies very true with no "scary" tendencies It has good speed and can do aerobatics. It is a good plane to learn flying RC airplanes

Bought Arrows Prodigy put together everything is working but transmitter constantly makes beeping sound not the one minute warning but a nonstop beeping what can cause this?

Well packaged, went together quickly with no drama.  Weather had been uncooperative when I’ve had time to fly, so I haven’t had it in the air yet.

I bought the Prodigy 1400mm RTF to fly with my grandson.  It's pretty easy to assemble, and the Vector stabilizer works well.  

This is the first larger plane he has been comfortable with, having previously flown the UMX Turbo Timber.  He flew it for the first time yesterday and was able to fly and land it no problem.  

One thing:  Exercise care launching the plane:  it tends to "dip" upon release.  Other than that, it's a wonderful first or second plane

I expected this to be an upgrade from my AeroScout. It is that in spades. I did not expect that it would be an upgrade to my Conscendo, but it is better in every way. It is the perfect park glider that I have been searching for.
