Fantastic flyer great for smaller fields. This ane has lots of power and with the flaps at full has incredibly slow landing speeds. I'm getting 8-9 minute flights on my 2200 3S packs. Perfect winter plane for our snowy New England winters. I've got a set of skis all ready to go on and I can't wait to do some snow flying. In short this Bigfoot is a great sport airplane. I'm sure glad I got it.

This airplane is awesome. It took me a little time to put it together, mostly the radio. It seemed that the connections didn't match up with my radio, so I had to change the inputs on my radio to accommodate. But the airplane is so cool. STOL no problem. With the flaps you get a nice soft stable approach and landing. Flaps up and it's a very sporty flyer!

Flies well from grass lane in a filed. Lane is  about 12 feet wide. Flaps work well. Takes off in about 20 feet.  Rudder very responsive to land great in slight cross wind situations. 

It flys great and is very durable. It flys better on 4 cells and has plenty of power. It is sure nice not having to pay tax on your purchases. The paint around the battery opening is not very durable and flakes off.

I haven't flown the bigfoot with the vectoring system. I am still flying my old bigfoot and it's going strong. I would recommend this plane to anyone it's a blast to fly.

Terrific trainer and value for the dollar, allows new flyers to the hobby to experience ailerons and flaps without moving up to a more expensive planes. Great flyer.

This is the best trainer I've found under $200. I fly it nearly every day. The Vector stabilization system works as well or better than SAFE, and is programmed specifically for this plane. Very sturdy, full featured, the perfect beginner-intermediate plane.

Excelent for fun, suitable for beginners and also makes good pirouttes.

Very easy build/assembly. Prop was balanced just about perfect out of the box. Plenty of room to mount the RX and the Vector system easy to hook up a nd works great. Did put a Dr Mad Thrust electronic on/off switch to turn landing lights on and off but left strobe lights on wing tips on all the time and flashing.

Cant say enough good things bout the Arrows Bigfoot.  Or for all the Arrows planes. Very well built and detailed, Esplanade's for the money.  I have 4 of them.  And the service from Hobbyzone just can't be beat.  

Been out of the RC Plane world for over 10 years. Got back into it with friends. I ordered this plane equipped with Vector Stabilization.  Easy set up, easy to fly.  GREAT VALUE for the plane.

I was shocked when I opened the box at the quality of the Bigfoot. Will definitely purchase more from Hobby Zone. Unbelievable price and the packaging was fantastic. Been in the hobby 57 years and this is probably the best bargain I've had.

Started flying back in the 1970's,just getting back in again.I must say this Bigfoot is one nice plane,easy to fly,even for this old man.Very smooth flying,lands nice and easy.Very easy assembly.Vector system is amazing.Only thing I changed was tires,installed softer and made a big difference.Also purchased a Husky,Edge 540,and Tecman ,the are beautiful planes also,just haven't had the weather right to try them

Nice RC model. Got in my maiden flight today but it was cut short when the wind abruptly kicked up from an approaching rain storm. Two clicks of Aileron trim was I needed. No bad habits.

The Big Foot is easy to put together and looks to be a real winner. Hobby Zone is great to work with and Dan, my personal contact and support person, is very helpful and follows up whenever I need him.

First flight today.  Easy takeoff even without flaps. Used the stabilizer and low rates very smooth with light wind. Landed with full flaps practically stopped without stalling.  Many perfect landings.  Started flying early in morning lights were very helpful.  Several comments on how bright light were.  Will do high rates next trip to field.  Have bought from Hobbyzone before great service and fast shipping.  Looking at EDF jet for next plane

I have bought two airplanes from hobbyzone    The Bigfoot is one of the easiest plane to fly.  Lights are great for early morning flights.  Plan to train my grandkids with it.  Will buy more aircraft from hobby zone. 

Great plane... Took only about an hour to put together. I replaced the flashing light Y-harness with a regular futaba one because I read that the lights flash with the one included and I didn't want the. The manual is pretty good. My first electric.
It flies great and you don't need the flaps but they are fun to play with. Flew it with only some small trims. I fly it without the vector thing active. I get about 8% battery loss per minute with the 2200 pack.
I wanted a plane that I could put in the truck and go to the field on a cold day and sit it down 10 min and get back in the truck and go home. This plane is perfect for that.

if you have any questions any the owner will literally call you and help walk you through any problems the plane came fast and in perfect condition being a newbie I couldn't figure out my flaps he sat on the phone with me and talked me through I'm extremely happy I ordered through hobby zone thank you Dan

I purchased this little beauty several weeks ago and flew the wings off it.....then I thought, it struggles a bit in the wind at or above 10 mph so I plopped a 4s 2200Mah lipo in and in the middle of the second flight on that size battery....I had no power....Dagnabbit! I fried my ESC (20amp) so I harvested a 40 amp out of a wrecked Eflite Cherorkee and WooHoo!That Bigfoot woke up and has been a real pleasure for many many flights and no hiccups from the motor or any airframe structures....I Highly recommend the BF to you for beginners as well as sportier antics. -Dr Ron

This is one of the best planes that i have.The quality is excellant,have one with the vector and one just a pnp and they are both great.The foam is of high quality and the bolt on construction is fast and strong.I use the 3s and 4s 2200 batteries and it flys perfect with either one.It handels grass fields with out a problem and is right at home on asphalt.Can do a lot of 3d and is a good upgrade for somebody that is still learning as it can fly slow and can be made very docil and landings are easily done.Just a great plane and thats why i have two. kenny.

This is a great all around flying plane.Its a nice size easy to see and loves flying and landing on grass which is what my club field has.Over 70 flights and no issues.Bought a secound one as i never want to be with out this plane in case something happens to the first one. Is also a great trainer or for sure a secound plane.kenny

Good looking plane, flies well. Took a while to get up the courage to maiden it, but flew 2 batteries through it and didn't crash. Burnt up an ESC seeing how it would taxi in the grass where I normally fly but it was an easy replacement. (It nosed over in the grass and I didn't cut the throttle fast enough I guess.) I feel confident that they would have replaced the ESC if I had contacted them but I planned on putting a 40A in it anyway. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a little bit larger plane. (Much easier to see in the air.) I do wish the tires were softer. I just got a Tecnam and looking forward to flying it soon.

This is my second Bigfoot as my first one had an unfortunate encounter with the laws of physics and gravity which ended it’s life. The original flew great as does its replacement. The quality and value of your products coupled with your outstanding customer service makes you a rare and wonderful company. Keep up the great work.

The quality of this kit is unsurpassed by anyone. Every fitting perfect, every screw lined up exactly. A very fast assembly with no concerns. The Bigfoot easily would qualify for a second or third plane, and yet is full of ability for the more experienced. Every maneuver is predictable. I enjoy flying a stall with a well behaved plane and the Bigfoot definitely qualify s as a well behaved plane. The Bigfoot is definitely a 5 star plane and I should have bought it when it first came out, but at that time I did not know Arrows produced 1st class aircraft.

I received the Bigfoot on Friday and flew it this morning, Sunday. My plane came with the Vector installed but I removed it.
The first flight was with a 3300maH pack and a friend was on the Tx. At full throttle it was pretty anemic getting off our Club grass runway. After a little trimming, we both flew it for awhile but loops and rolls were not attempted.
I had purchased an APC 11x7 prop with the Bigfoot, as a backup. I switched from the stock prop to the APC and dropped in a 2200 pack. On the takeoff run I gave it a little 'up' and it shot into the air with authority. Wow!! I looked at my flying buddy and he was grinning.
Now, the loops, rolls and and inverted flight were a breeze.
So, much fun!
I'm not an Expert, so draw your own conclusions!! It was a hot, humid day on the Southeast Coast but none of the three battery packs I used were more than slightly warm.

The Big Foot is my go to RC plane. IT'S EASY TO FLY AND ASSEMBLE LIKE MOST ALL ARROWS PLANES.

Great plane, very easy to fly.  And no to hard to set up. 

Great STOL airplane that can be flown on windy days (10-15mph). Only problem encountered so far is that the rudder control rod keeps coming loose. Also had to replace the servo attached to the rudder control arm.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Arrows Bigfoot PNP. Robust build quality, fit and finish are better then a comparable E-Flite Timber or Carbon Cub. Vector seems smoother and less intrusive then SAFE, although this plane flies on rails so you'll be surprised at how little you need to use Vector. It can fly low and slow with flaps deployed or fairly fast on 3S. Inverted, loops, knife edges, and predictable habits are all there. I paired mine to a Flysky FSi6-X without any glitches and am very happy with nearly 50 flawless flights so far. A fantastic plane.

I wish I'd listened to my uncle who told me to have someone teach me to fly. I said I'll be alright I've played gta and other video games, can't be that different. Well something they haven't added to video games yet is wind.

So after destroying the 1st one i bought and finally getting the hang of it before it just finally gave out, i ordered another one and it's been just great since then.

The controller is pretty flimsy, one of the switches broke and the rudder servo on the plane went bad but for a $300 plane i can't really complain.

Would totally but again.... Which i did. Haha

This is one of - if not the best value for your money airplanes that you can buy! However that's not even the best part. The best part of this airplane is that it's extremely fun and easy to fly! If you like the looks of a Cessna - then this is a must have! Blue skies friends, R/C DJ

a very fun plane to fly

This is my 8th rc plane in the 1200-1500mm range and the Bigfoot is #1 in performance and looks.  The lights are also fantastic and can be seen during the day too.  

This is an awesome RC plane, putting it together is a snap. I chose the bind and fly model as I had a Spektrum 620 for it. The maiden flight was very good no surprises of any kind. This plane is enjoyable to take up and tear holes in the sky

I had some trouble connecting the electronics. It was complicated. I called customer service who gave me advice that made the connection work. On of the Leeds were severed . I found the broken problem and repaired it. I havnt flown the plane yet, its too cold here in Ct.

The factory lights stand out on this plane. It flies amazing! Love the hobby, thanks for the great business!

I bought the Bigfoot the quality of the plane is awesome and the red scheme is great easy to see,I set up everything the vector seemed to be working according to instructions included. I set up the vector in correct orientation and had the vector set up on a 3 switch channel, I tested all control surfaces, everything was working properly . I went out for my maiden, did a range check all was well, took off half flaps mid rates and in fail safe mode to test . All was well with a couple trim inputs right aileron and a couple trims up elevator she was flying great . Switched to manual mode , she immediately dove down and she was in pieces. I’m not sure why that happened. I had an AR 8000 spectrum receiver with satellite not sure if there was interference once switched to different mode . Buying new parts and going to try again, but this time with no vector and an AR620 receiver. I’m puzzled why this happened.

If you land and flip your plane, your need to buy an extra tail rudder because it will be broken each flip. Plain flies nice but the wings are a pain to break down to put in your car or suv. Over all 4-5 stars :)

This plane is gorgeous and well made. Easy to put together. Beginner friendly

Minus one star for two reason:
- Lack power / very slow plane
- Not really convenient to disassemble as you will have to remove the 4 screw for the wings, disconnect cable from the receiver and remove the pin on the wings support

I think this is one of the best trainers for those who want to be serious pilots. It's sturdy, well designed, easy to assemble and work on. One problem that seems to happen to everyone is the wheels fall off, generally on take-off. I'd suggest anyone ordering this plane to buy extra props, generic ones often dont fit properly on the spinner.

HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ESC, HOWEVER DAN IS TAKING CARE OF THAT. A GREAT PLANE TO FLY...HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

I did not like the response of the rudder seems to be a bit too small, Batt box a bit cramped, I purchased the Vector with mine but Vector instruction sheet was not much help. Still not sure if I can assign a switch for the vector system.

A very robust landing gear that holds up well to it's bouncy landing tendency. Old guys with fat hands will find the Battery box a bit cramped. LOVE the lighting ((( just downright neat and cool))) A well behaved flyer but seems to be a bit underpowered. I wish the "vector" system came with more inclusive instructions, I still don't know if it can be put on a switch. Very easy to assemble and all parts fit precisely. Like the new control arm links, they have a courser thread and are more predictable to adjust...looks like Arrow is trying to step up to being a first class manufacture.

Plane came missing the y harness for the ailerons so I can't even finish it. Also very confusing on what wires go where. Manual isn't much help when it comes to that. I guess if you were very skilled you would be able to put this plane together but don't buy this if you're just getting into the hobby.

Great looking plane, goes together easy. Flys great. It would definitely benefit from softer tires and a more powerful motor it in my opinion it is well under powered. I will be replacing the tire with something softer and the motor with something more powerful, otherwise this would be a much perfect plane. Because of the hard tires and under power motor is the only reason I am not giving it a full five star rating.

The Arrows Bigfoot is a superb airplane in many regards. The foam is dense and not susceptible to gatoring, the motor is powerful on 3s and ridiculous on 4s, the airframe handles predictably and is rugged enough to handle noobish "interactions" with the ground without much challenge.

Might be a great first plane for a noob with some RC experience, like someone who has become highly proficient on an RC flight simulator, and uses a stabilizer of some sort.

Biggest weak spot: value for money isn't competitive with FMS's new 1300 mm PA-18 Super Cub, which has $100+ worth of features which make it more attractive. You will be replacing the hard foam wheels for something with a little more give, which will cost you almost $30. The Vector flight control system isn't any better than native systems inside Spektrum or Lemon gear, but you can't buy the plane without it, which drives the price up. The clips which attach the struts are hard to install and come off/get lost easily. I'm not that fond of the "tribal tattoo" graphics on the wings. The lights on the wings blink (for some weird reason) and that functionality can't be changed without chopping off the control module in the electronics; wing and landing lights don't blink in full-scale aircraft, so why do they blink here? I called Dan at Hobby Zone and he had no answers for me.

Most of these issues are easily resolved in any of 10 different ways by experienced modelers.

This is a very easy model to fly with any expertise - landings on spongy grass or loam are effortless. There are LOADS of opportunities to correct your flight path prior to landing. I was able to tailslide this airframe and even hover it effectively on its first flight; aerobatics of any other kind are entertaining. The airframe has no bad characteristics. If I had a recommendation: for fliers who want better penetration in gusty winds, just fly 4s 2200 or heavier 4s batteries as the added weight will make it react more predictably on approach. On 3s, there's so much wing area with flaps down that you have to "drive the airframe down to the deck" to get it to land. Plus, the crazy extra power is fun if you like to fly aerobatically.

Pro tip: turn your rates down and your expo up as the large control surfaces are overly effective, even at slow speeds, which can leave you over-controlling the model at low altitudes.

Myself and a friend both bought this plane and both of us like the plane the looks the flying and the size, we also both experienced the same problem on the second or third landing the rudder servo striped out. with this happening on both planes I would think this might be a week point. I replaced mine with metal gear servo and while I was at it the elevator servo with the same. the second problem I had was the vector came lose , flopping around, and when I switched to level mode instead of stabilizing it made the plane roll over and spiral into the ground, an inadvertent durability test, I replaced it with a Hobby Eagle A3 pro V2 6 axis . even with the problems I like the plane.
PS the wheels are too hard

mine came with a bad esc. Had to dig out the battery board. Installed a 40 amp esc. Servo wires too short. I put extensions on all connectors.

Bigfoot is the biggest plane for me so far and super fun to fly. Gets off the ground quickly, and flaps make it easy to land like a champ. Assembly was easy. The lights are a real bonus for early morning or dusk flying. Very stable and predictable. The gyro works excellent too. My Bigfoot made its maiden flight on a set of Dubro DUB825 skis and stomped like Bigski all through winter. Get a set of those skis and enjoy 4-season flying!
